Super Fildena is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. It contains two active ingredients: sildenafil citrate and dapoxetine. Each of these ingredients has its own metabolic pathway and excretion route.
Sildenafil Citrate: Sildenafil is primarily metabolized in the liver by the enzyme cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) into its active metabolite, N-desmethyl sildenafil. Super Fildena metabolite is further metabolized and eventually excreted primarily in the feces (approximately 80%) and to a lesser extent in the urine (approximately 13%).
Dapoxetine: Dapoxetine is metabolized in the liver by several enzymes including CYP2D6 and CYP3A4. It undergoes extensive metabolism into inactive metabolites, which are then excreted primarily in the urine (approximately 66%) and to a lesser extent in the feces (approximately 24%).
Both sildenafil and dapoxetine have relatively short half-lives, which means they are eliminated from the body relatively quickly. Sildenafil has a half-life of approximately 4 hours, while dapoxetine has a half-life of approximately 1-2 hours.
